Abstract
This thesis presents a fourth‑semester project in the MSc in Entrepreneurial Engineering at Aalborg University. The project develops a practical plan for Charles University Innovations Prague (CUIP), a limited liability company that handles technology transfer—turning university research and inventions into real‑world applications—from a public university in Prague. The focus is on addressing CUIP’s current economic challenges by positioning the company more effectively within an innovation ecosystem, understood as the network of universities, companies, investors, and public actors that move ideas to market. The report outlines the steps taken and the entrepreneurship and innovation methods taught in the program that were applied. It also includes the student’s reflections on the case and on the approach learned during the studies.
