Abstract
This thesis explores how creativity shapes innovation at SEV at both the individual and organizational levels. It outlines how an organization can build an innovation framework to navigate radical change. To explain how creativity turns into innovation, the study looks beneath the surface of daily work and the wider organizational context, using ethnographic methods that examine everyday practices and provide a holistic view. Historically, SEV has prioritized technological innovation, following a monoculture approach that relies mainly on one type of expertise. The ambitions in SEV’s Vision 2030, however, bring challenges that are not only technical but also social and organizational. In response, the thesis proposes a conceptual model that supports solutions grounded in social-scientific perspectives. It concludes that SEV could strengthen creativity by reaching beyond its current community of practice and adopting a more interdisciplinary approach.
