Dette beskrivende casestudie undersøger, hvordan lærere på tre forskellige skoler i samme by, Targoviste i Dambovita amt, Rumænien, forstår begrebet kreativitet, og hvordan de forsøger at udvikle det hos deres elever. Studiet beskriver lærernes opfattelser af, hvad kreativitet betyder i undervisningen, samt de pædagogiske tilgange, de bruger for at fremme kreativ tænkning og arbejde.
