Abstract
This project deals with the challenge of designing a highly multi-functional arena, located in Ørestaden, Copenhagen. An area under heavy development, situated between housing complexes, sports halls and businesses. Together with the requirement of a sustainable approach to the site, an extensive list of demands from the design competition is also required to be taken into consideration, along with the many technical demands. The design proposal deals with both the surround context, the building’s relation to the site and the design of a multi-functional construction.
