Abstract
This thesis presents an architectural design for expanding a primary school in Khovd, Mongolia. Developed both as an entry for an international competition and as a master’s thesis at Aalborg University, Denmark, the project explores how architecture can respond to climate, support sustainability, and enhance learning. It brings together the themes of climate and architecture, sustainability, and education in a practical, context-sensitive school extension proposal.
