Abstract

Dette projekt undersøger, hvordan skandinaviske biografer – med Nordisk Film Cinema som fokus – kan skabe mere værdi for både virksomheden og biografgængerne. Mange forbrugere forventer i dag personaliserede, altså skræddersyede, services. Derfor ser vi på, hvordan digitale teknologier kan bruges til at forstå gæsternes præferencer bedre og tilpasse oplevelsen. Det omfatter fx Internet of Things (forbundne enheder og sensorer) og digitale tjenester, som kan indsamle data om præferencer og behov. Projektet bygger på principperne i STOF-forretningsmodellen. Metodisk er der gennemført seks interviews (tre med medarbejdere i Nordisk Film og tre med specialister i privatlivspolitik og sensorer), et spørgeskema til 152 biografgængere samt ni opfølgende interviews. På den baggrund anbefales det, at Nordisk Film Cinema indfører anbefalersystemer til personalisering, øger brugen af automatiserede processer, styrker forbrugerfokus i hele organisationen, deler viden mere systematisk og har et tydeligt blik for fremtidens biografgængere og deres behov.

This project examines how Scandinavian cinemas—with Nordisk Film Cinema as the focus—can create more value for both the company and moviegoers. Many consumers today expect personalized, i.e., tailored, services. We therefore explore how digital technologies can be used to better understand visitors’ preferences and adapt the experience. This includes the Internet of Things (connected devices and sensors) and digital services that can collect data on preferences and needs. The project is based on the principles of the STOF business model. Methodologically, we conducted six interviews (three with Nordisk Film employees and three with specialists in privacy policy and sensors), distributed a survey to 152 moviegoers, and carried out nine follow-up interviews. Based on these results, we recommend that Nordisk Film Cinema implement recommender systems for personalization, increase automated processes, strengthen consumer focus across the organization, improve knowledge sharing, and keep a clear, forward-looking focus on future moviegoers and their needs.
