Abstract
Dette projekt undersøger, hvorfor det er svært for virksomheder i Danmark at rapportere klart om den miljømæssige del af bæredygtighed. Det beskriver de praktiske udfordringer ved at fastlægge miljøindikatorer—enkle og konsistente måder at måle påvirkning på—og ved at indsamle og kombinere både kvantitative (tal) og kvalitative (beskrivelser) data. Projektet ser også på, hvordan virksomheder håndterer pres udefra og opfylder interessenters behov for information, samtidig med at de navigerer i skiftende regler og markedsforventninger. Internt afhænger succes af at opbygge en kultur for løbende læring, etablere nye rutiner og uddanne medarbejdere i rapporteringsprincipper. Stærk ledelsesopbakning og evnen til at agere under usikkerhed er lige så vigtige.
