Abstract
Dette speciale undersøger, om elektriske varevogne kan reducere luftforurening fra transport i Københavns Kommune, og om det kan gøres omkostningseffektivt. Resultatet er, at el-varevogne for nuværende ikke er omkostningseffektive, især på grund af deres høje indkøbspris. Hvis de alligevel blev taget i brug, ville de omkostninger, der er forbundet med luftforurening fra godstransporten, falde markant. Ser man på hele vejtransporten i kommunen, kan de største og mest umiddelbare reduktioner i forureningen opnås i persontransporten. Da København allerede har taget skridt på dette område, bør næste fokus være varevogne, som er den næstmest forurenende transportform lokalt. Politikker for både personbiler og varevogne bør sigte mod at reducere antallet af køretøjer på vejene. Det vil mindske forurening og trængsel. This thesis examines whether electric freight vans can reduce air pollution from transport in Copenhagen Municipality, and whether doing so is cost-effective. The study finds that, at present, electric freight vans are not cost-effective, mainly because their purchase price is high. Even so, if they were adopted, the costs associated with air pollution from goods transport would fall markedly. Looking at all road transport in the municipality, the largest and most immediate pollution reductions come from passenger transport. Since Copenhagen has already taken steps in that area, the next best focus is freight vans, which are the second-most polluting road-transport mode locally. Policies for both passenger vehicles and freight vans should aim to reduce the number of vehicles on the road. This would cut air pollution and ease congestion. Shifting more freight trips to night-time can also relieve congestion, but it does not make electric freight vans more competitive than conventional vans.
