Abstract
This thesis examines whether gender diversity on corporate boards is associated with how Turkish listed companies perform. Board gender diversity means having both women and men represented. The analysis uses a panel dataset that follows the same 97 firms on Borsa Istanbul from 2015 to 2024, yielding 970 firm-year observations.
Dette speciale undersøger, om kønsdiversitet i bestyrelsen hænger sammen med, hvordan tyrkiske børsnoterede virksomheder klarer sig. Kønsdiversitet i bestyrelsen betyder, at både kvinder og mænd er repræsenteret. Analysen bygger på et paneldatasæt, hvor de samme 97 virksomheder på Borsa Istanbul følges over årene 2015–2024, i alt 970 virksomhed-år observationer.
