Abstract

Present thesis investigates how architects are affected by the ongoing discussion about sustainability in general, and investigates how they relate to the different approaches within the field of sustainable architectures. This is elaborated through interviews with practicing architects. Furthermore the aim is to study how architecture relates to the discussion in a more general way, where architectures relation to the world in which it is based is studied in order to find a more general relation between architecture and sustainability. Thes estudies forms the basis for a design proposal for Skive New Art Museum
