Abstract
Sammendrag: Formålet med denne undesøkelsen har vært å kartlegge hvorvidt tematikken seksualitet og seksuell helse blir ivaretatt hos de innsatte i Oslo fengsel. Dette med utgangspunkt i WHOs definisjon av seksuell helse og den bio-psyko-sosiale modell. Utvalget av informanter har bestått av fem ansatte med ulik utdanningsbakgrunn. Det har blitt gjennomført fem kvalitative intervjuer som er transkribert og analysert. Undersøkelsen viser at seksualitet og seksuell helse hos de innsatte ikke er en tematikk som er prioritert. Dette med unntak av på noen få, spesifikke områder. Årsakene til dette er flere, blant annet tabu, maktforhold og opplevelse av manglende kompetanse.
Abstract: The purpose of this study has been to identify whether the themes inmates sexuality and sexual health are attended to in Oslo Prison. This based on the WHO definition of sexual health and the bio- psycho-social model. The selection of informants consisted of five employees with different educational backgrounds. Five qualitative interviews were conducted and they were all transcribed and analyzed. The survey shows that the themes sexuality and sexual health among inmates are not prioritized, with exception of a few specific areas. The reasons for the findings are many, including taboo, power relationships and the experience of lack of competence.
