Abstract
This thesis analyzes Provital Solution A/S (PS) to clarify how the external environment and strategic choices influence growth and the transition from entrepreneurial to established stages. A company case is combined with models and theory from articles and recognized literature across business model, environment, strategy, and organizational life-cycle perspectives to map PS’s evolution and managerial challenges. The analysis indicates that PS faces a mature market with limited opportunities for entry using a new technology and low environmental uncertainty. Accordingly, a differentiation strategy is recommended; it is especially critical for PS to achieve clear differentiation to survive the second (collectivity) stage and move into the third (formalization) stage, where a more stable fit among organization, market, and environment can be maintained. The thesis offers entrepreneurial managers a practical lens for guiding growth and stage transitions.
Denne afhandling analyserer Provital Solution A/S (PS) for at belyse, hvordan virksomhedens omgivelser og strategiske valg påvirker vækst og overgangen fra iværksætter- til etableret fase. Et virksomhedscase kombineres med modeller og teori fra artikler og anerkendt litteratur inden for forretningsmodel, omverden, strategi og organisatorisk livscyklus for at kortlægge PS’ udvikling og ledelsesmæssige udfordringer. Analysen peger på, at PS opererer i et modent marked med begrænsede muligheder for indtræden med ny teknologi og lav miljømæssig usikkerhed.
