Dette speciale analyserer udviklingen af bredbåndsmarkedet og -politikken i Bulgarien med fokus på, hvordan landet har tilpasset sig EU's Digital Agenda og det tilhørende regulatoriske rammeværk. Det sætter den opdaterede nationale strategi for udvikling af bredbåndsadgang og den nationale plan for næste generations adgang (2014) ind i EU's målsætninger om højhastighedsinternet og et digitalt indre marked.
