Abstract
Denne afhandling undersøger, hvordan Blue Water Shipping (BWS) kan opfylde stigende miljøkrav i luftfragt samtidig med at fastholde og styrke leverandørsamarbejdet. Med udgangspunkt i EU’s 2030-mål, kundedrevne forventninger og udviklinger som Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) afgrænses den centrale problemstilling til, hvordan grønne logistikløsninger kan integreres uden at svække langsigtede partnerskaber. Studiet er opbygget som et casestudie af BWS og kombinerer litteraturgennemgang (grøn logistik, strategisk bæredygtighed, leverandørsamarbejde), interessentanalyse og systemkortlægning med interviews og spørgeskemaer. Adgangs- og databegrænsninger, bl.a. en NDA og varierende datakvalitet fra leverandører, påvirkede datadybden og konsistensen. Analysen identificerer kundedrevne, leverandørdrevne og driftsrelaterede udfordringer samt strategier for forbedret samarbejde mellem køber og leverandør og munder ud i en strategisk ramme for at integrere bæredygtige tiltag i luftfragt samtidig med at styrke relationer i forsyningskæden. Afhandlingen henvender sig til praktikere, forskere og beslutningstagere inden for bæredygtig luftfragt og forsyningskæder.
This thesis examines how Blue Water Shipping (BWS) can meet rising environmental requirements in air freight while maintaining and strengthening supplier collaboration. Anchored in the EU’s 2030 targets, customer demands, and developments such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), the central question is how to integrate green logistics solutions without weakening long-term partnerships. The study adopts a case-based approach at BWS, combining a literature review (green logistics, strategic sustainability, supplier collaboration), stakeholder analysis and system mapping with interviews and surveys. Access and data limitations—including an NDA and uneven supplier data—affected depth and consistency. The analysis surfaces customer-, supplier-, and operations-driven challenges and identifies buyer–supplier cooperation strategies, culminating in a strategic framework to embed sustainability initiatives in air freight while reinforcing supply chain relationships. The work is intended for practitioners, researchers, and policymakers in sustainable air freight and supply chains.
