Abstract
This thesis argues that adding AI to entrepreneurial work does more than automate tasks. It gradually reshapes how that work is structured, coordinated, and governed. Rather than doing everything directly, entrepreneurs increasingly orchestrate distributed human–AI systems—that is, they coordinate people and AI tools across tasks and teams. This shift unfolds under conditions of uncertainty, when goals and outcomes are not fully known in advance.
