Projektet vurderer infrarød (IR) og nær-infrarød (NIR) spektroskopi som hurtige analyseværktøjer til at måle kvalitetsparametre i spiselige olier. Der udvikles kemometriske metoder (statistiske modeller til at fortolke spektrale data), og IR/NIR-resultaterne sammenlignes med referenceanalyser for at undersøge sammenhængen.
