Abstract
Dette speciale præsenterer Aalborg Mediatek som et bæredygtigt indendørs offentligt mødested for byen, placeret på Strandgade i Nørresundby nær broen på en ca. 3.000 m2 stor grund med godt flow af mennesker. Mediateket er tænkt som et hybridbibliotek, der kombinerer medier (fx cd’er og dvd’er) og bøger, med særskilte zoner for børn og voksne samt galleri til udstillinger, restaurant og rekreative områder, mødefaciliteter og administration. This thesis presents the Aalborg Mediatheque as a sustainable indoor public venue for the city, located on Strandgade in Nørresundby near the bridge on an approximately 3,000 m2 site with strong pedestrian flow.
