Abstract
Denne afhandling undersøger, om en samme-dags leveringsproposition kan forbedre konkurrenceevne og lønsomhed for en udbyder af instant-leveringer i lyset af e-handelens vækst og pres på punkt-til-punkt-modeller. Projektets formål er at designe og vurdere en gennemførlig proposition ved at identificere og sammenligne relevante scenarier og analysere dem i hele virksomheden. Metodisk anvendes et feasibility-perspektiv med TELOS-rammen (teknisk, økonomisk, juridisk, operationel, tidsplan) og scenariesimuleringer. Resultaterne peger på, at en samme-dags løsning er teknisk mulig, men kræver yderligere udvikling for at være fuldt dækkende; de daglige opgaver ændres kun begrænset, men der er behov for træning i nye praksisser. Implementeringen skønnes mulig på 3-4 uger, eller op til seks uger ved fuldt udviklet løsning. Økonomisk viser propositionen potentiale for positive marginer. På baggrund af disse resultater er det besluttet at gennemføre en test for at validere antagelser og indsamle feedback. This thesis examines whether a same-day delivery proposition can improve competitiveness and profitability for an instant-delivery provider amid the growth of e-commerce and pressure on point-to-point models. The aim is to design and assess a feasible proposition by identifying and comparing relevant scenarios and evaluating them across the company. The study applies a feasibility perspective using the TELOS framework (technical, economic, legal, operational, scheduling) and scenario simulations. Findings indicate that a same-day offering is technically viable but requires further development to be complete; day-to-day tasks would change only marginally, though training in new practices is needed. Implementation is estimated at 3-4 weeks, extending to around six weeks for a fully developed solution. Economically, the proposition shows potential for positive margins. Based on these results, a test has been planned to validate assumptions and collect feedback. The thesis outlines practical steps toward shifting from instant, point-to-point deliveries to a more consolidated same-day model.
