Abstract

Midt i denne rationalitet bliver mennesket ofte glemt.

Sustainability now shapes how we build, with certifications, building regulations, and many rules. In this rational focus, the human dimension is often overlooked. This project brings human perception back through a phenomenological approach that focuses on how people sense and experience spaces, so that everyday life itself becomes sustainable. It centers on Common Housing, a community-oriented housing model with both shared and private areas, creating a vibrant community while respecting privacy. The architecture has a bold form that engages the natural landscape and is organized around a single, ever-present central hub. This center is felt throughout the community and fosters a new awareness of the sustainable home.
