Abstract
Projektet udvikler en mobil løsning til hjemmeplejen i Herning Kommune. Systemet hjælper medarbejdere gennem arbejdsdagen med en daglig plan, der samler den nødvendige information. Baggrunden er to problemer ved det nuværende browserbaserede system: det kræver konstant adgang til et centralt system, og svartiden er ofte lang. Vi adresserer dette ved at gå væk fra en browserløsning og i stedet lagre data direkte på de mobile enheder. Lokal lagring betyder mindre kommunikation med det centrale system, hurtigere adgang til oplysninger og mulighed for at arbejde, selv når der ikke er stabil netværksforbindelse.
This project develops a mobile solution for the Home Care sector in Herning Municipality. The system supports staff throughout the day with a daily plan that gathers all necessary information. It is motivated by two issues in the current browser-based system: it requires constant access to a central system, and response times are often long. We address these by moving away from a browser-based approach and storing data directly on mobile devices. Local data storage reduces communication with the central system, improves responsiveness, and allows work to continue even without a stable connection.
