Abstract
Denne afhandling undersøger, hvordan postmodernismen former fortællingen i Charlie Kaufmans tre manuskripter: Being John Malkovich, Adaptation og Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
This thesis examines how postmodernism shapes the storytelling in Charlie Kaufman's screenplays Being John Malkovich, Adaptation, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It explains what is meant by a "poetics"—the creative principles and narrative techniques—and considers how these scripts use them to mix reality and fiction, challenge traditional structures, and invite reflection on identity, memory, and authorship. By comparing the three works, the thesis situates Kaufman's writing within a postmodern tradition.
