Abstract

Dette speciale undersøger, hvilke udfordringer og løsninger der opstår under post-opkøbsintegration, og om de varierer på tværs af brancher. Udgangspunktet er en kvalitativ gennemgang af 22 artikler (halvdelen teoretiske, halvdelen empiriske), suppleret med tre rapporter fra konsulenthuse for at vurdere konsistens på tværs af kilder. Derudover præsenteres to danske cases for at se, om danske lederes tilgang stemmer overens med den eksisterende viden. Resultaterne viser høj overensstemmelse om de centrale udfordringer i teoretiske, empiriske og konsulentbaserede kilder, mens der er mindre enighed om de anbefalede løsninger. Mange problemer og løsninger går igen på tværs af brancher, hvilket peger på begrænset branchafhængighed. This thesis examines the challenges and solutions associated with post-acquisition integration and whether they vary by industry.
