Abstract
Dette projekt undersøger de diskursive måder, hvorpå boligsocial praksis adresserer og forholder sig til unges behov for arbejde, uddannelse, fællesskab og demokratisk tilhørsforhold og deltagelse i hovedstadsområdet i Danmark. Det gør det ved at analysere interviews og rapporter fra både unges og socialarbejderes diskursive konstruktioner af disse fænomener, hvorved stigmatisering, statsborgerskab og konkurrenceteori om subjektivering blandt unge og børn anvendes i en CDA-inspireret diskursanalyse. Projektet konkluderer, at boligsocialt arbejde i høj grad forholder sig til og adresserer de arbejdsrelaterede behov, som de unge fremhæver, men i mindre grad de demokratiske behov, der især opstår som følge af stigmatisering, herunder politisk stigmatisering.
This project investigates the discursive ways social housing praxis address and relates to youth in social housing areas need for work, education, community and democratic sense of belonging and participation in the capital region of Denmark. It does so by analysing interviews and reports from both youth and socials workers’ discursive constructs of these phenomena, applying stigma, citizenship and competition state theory on subjectivation amongst youth and children to a CDA-inspired discourse analysis. The project concludes that the social housing work to a large degree relates and addresses the work-related needs that the youth highlight, but less so the democratic once that arises especially from stigmatization, hereof political stigmatization.
