Abstract
Denne afhandling undersøger, hvordan musikterapi kan bruges til at vurdere børn med udfordringer inden for tilpasning, sociale færdigheder samt tale og sprog. Studiet bygger på et feltprojekt med 8 børn, som var henvist til pædagogisk/psykologisk rådgivning. Formålet er at udvikle en vurderingsmetode i musikterapi og besvare tre spørgsmål: 1) Hvordan kan musikterapi give viden om kontakt og kommunikation? 2) Hvilke oplysninger får man med kvalitative (beskrivende) og kvantitative (talmæssige) metoder? 3) Hvordan kan disse oplysninger bruges i en tværfaglig vurdering af barnet (dvs. en samlet vurdering foretaget af flere fagpersoner)? En kort engelsksproget sammenfatning af hovedkonklusionen findes på de sidste sider af afhandlingen.
This thesis explores how music therapy can be used to assess children with challenges in adjustment, social skills, and speech and language. It is based on a field project with 8 children who were referred to pedagogical/psychological counseling. The aim is to develop a music therapy assessment and address three questions: (1) How can music therapy provide information about contact and communication? (2) What information is obtained using qualitative (descriptive) versus quantitative (numerical) methods? (3) How can this information contribute to an interdisciplinary evaluation of the child (that is, an assessment carried out by a team of professionals)? A summary of the main conclusion in English is provided on the last pages of the dissertation.
