Abstract
Denne kandidatopgave undersøger, om og i hvilket omfang elementer fra digitale spil kan designes til at afdække menneskers foretrukne læringsstilsdimensioner med Felder & Silvermans Index of Learning Styles som ramme. Læringsstilsdimensioner forstås her som forskellige måder, folk foretrækker at modtage og bearbejde information. For at undersøge dette udviklede forfatteren et spil baseret på Felder–Silverman-modellen og testede det på 23 deltagere. Resultaterne viste ingen signifikante forskelle mellem de læringsstilsdimensioner, som spillet målte. Dette kan skyldes det lille deltagerantal.
This thesis examines whether, and to what extent, elements from digital games can be designed to reveal people’s preferred learning style dimensions, using Felder & Silverman’s Index of Learning Styles as the framework. Here, learning style dimensions are understood as different ways people prefer to receive and process information. To investigate this, the author designed a game aligned with the Felder–Silverman model and tested it with 23 participants. The results showed no significant differences between the learning style dimensions measured in the game. This may be due to the small sample size.
