Dette masterprojekt undersøger implementeringen af nye MedCom-standarder for elektronisk kommunikation mellem kommunal hjemmepleje og sygehuse i forbindelse med borgeres indlæggelsesforløb. Med afsæt i de nationale, regionale og kommunale rammer for sundheds-IT (bl.a. NSI, RSI og KL), kommunikationsinfrastrukturen (SDN/VANS) samt EOJ- og EPJ-systemernes rolle afgrænses casen til Herlev Kommune samt Gentofte Hospital og Herlev Hospital. Projektets centrale forskningsspørgsmål er, hvordan implementeringen er forløbet, og i hvilket omfang standarderne lever op til formålet om at sikre sammenhængende, sikker og rettidig sundhedsfaglig information på tværs af sektorer. Teoretisk anvendes SCOT (Social Construction of Technology) til at belyse, hvordan teknologi og praksis gensidigt former hinanden. Undersøgelsesdesignet er et etnografisk casestudie med metodetriangulering bestående af et empirisk dataudtræk, to spørgeskemaundersøgelser og 14 kvalitative interviews med aktører i både kommune og sygehus. Analysen fokuserer på kommunikationsflow, standardernes anvendelighed og organiseringen af implementeringsprocessen. Konkrete resultater og konklusioner fremgår ikke af dette uddrag, men projektet sigter mod at understøtte efterfølgende evaluering og videre udvikling af den tværsektorielle sundhedskommunikation.
This master’s thesis examines the implementation of new MedCom standards for electronic communication between municipal home care and hospitals during patients’ admission pathways. Framed by national, regional and municipal health IT governance (including NSI, RSI and KL), the communication infrastructure (SDN/VANS), and the role of EOJ and EPJ systems, the case is delimited to Herlev Municipality and Gentofte and Herlev Hospitals. The core research question is how the implementation has progressed and to what extent the standards meet their purpose of ensuring coherent, secure and timely clinical information across sectors. The study applies SCOT (Social Construction of Technology) to explore how technology and practice co-shape each other. The research design is an ethnographic case study with methodological triangulation comprising an empirical data extract, two surveys, and 14 qualitative interviews with stakeholders in both municipal and hospital settings. The analysis focuses on communication flows, the usability of the standards, and the organization of the implementation process. Specific findings and conclusions are not included in this excerpt, but the work is intended to inform subsequent evaluation and further development of cross-sector health communication.
