Abstract
Dette speciale undersøger, hvad der sker, når filosofi introduceres til både frivillige og brugere på et brugerstyret værested (et fællesskabsrum, der ledes af dem, der bruger det). Målet er at skabe fælles rum for undren, spørgsmål og refleksion gennem filosofi. Specialet ser på, hvordan filosofisk arbejde kan berige pædagogisk praksis, og sammenligner to sokratiske tilgange: brugen af sokratiske spørgeteknikker i kognitiv metode (strukturerede spørgsmål til at afklare og undersøge tanker) og den filosofiske sokratiske tilgang (åben udforskning, hvor deltagerne søger forståelse sammen). Teoretisk bygger specialet på Hans-Georg Gadamers filosofiske hermeneutik, forstået som en teori om, hvordan forståelse og fortolkning opstår i dialog, samt elementer fra Hannah Arendts filosofi med fokus på hendes begreber handling og tænkning. Specialet konkluderer, at sokratiske dialoggrupper kan tilbyde en ny og anderledes måde at arbejde på, som både kan udvikle pædagogisk praksis og skabe plads til undren for frivillige og brugere.
This thesis explores what happens when philosophy is introduced to both volunteers and users at a user-run community space (a place led by the people who use it). The aim is to create shared spaces for curiosity, questioning, and reflection. The study examines how philosophy can enrich everyday pedagogical practice and compares two uses of a Socratic approach: Socratic questioning in cognitive method (structured questions that clarify and examine thoughts) and the philosophical Socratic approach (open-ended exploration in which participants seek understanding together). The theoretical framework draws on Hans-Georg Gadamer's philosophical hermeneutics, understood as a view of how understanding and interpretation emerge through dialogue, and elements of Hannah Arendt's philosophy, especially her concepts of action and thinking. The thesis concludes that Socratic dialogue groups can offer a new and different way of working that both develops pedagogical practice and creates room for wonder for volunteers and users.
