Abstract

Master projektet er udarbejdet i forbindelse med master studiet ”IKT og læring (MIL)” ved Ålborg universitet. Masterprojektet skal ses i sammenhæng med undertegnedes ansættelse som lektor ved uddannelsesinstitutionen Svendborg International Maritime Academy - Simac.. I forbindelse med uddannelsernes opgradering til professionsbacheloruddannelser, er der sket en ændring i underviserne ansættelsesforhold. Begreberne adjunkt- og lektor stillinger er indført, i den forbindelse er det tænkt at lektoren skal arbejde mere selvstændigt og bl.a. selv tage ansvar for sin kompetenceudvikling. Samtidig er underviserne en del af det moderne samfund, hvor organisationskulturen og kommunikationsformen hastigt ændrer karakter. Videndeling blandt undervisere og institutioner er et krav, men i den konkret undersøgte organisation er der ikke megen fokus på videndeling, hvilket leder frem til følgende problemformulering: Hvordan faciliteres videndeling ved hjælp af ICT, således struktur og organisering af videndelingen harmonerer med den teamorganiserede organisationsstruktur men samtidig understøtter den faglige udvikling? Undersøgelsens analyse anvendes til at bearbejde informations og kommunikationsteknologier (ICT). Det der fordres ud over teknologien er et meget ”low-tech” men alligevel forsømt emne. Emnet er dokumentation af teknologien, brugervejledning til teknologien, samt en struktur og organisering der giver motivation, tillid og åbenhed omkring det at videndele.

The Master project is developed in connection with the Master study ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and Learning at Aalborg University. The Master project is to be seen in corporation with the employment as senior lecturer at the education institution Svendborg International Maritime Academy, SIMAC. In addition to the educations upgrade to Professional Bachelor Programmes the lecturer’s employment has changed. The positions lecturer and senior lecturer is introduced and in connection to this the thought is that the senior lecturer works more independently and take responsibility for their own competence development. At the same time the lecturers are part of the modern society, where the organization culture and the communication form hastily changes character. Knowledge sharing among senior lecturers and institutions is a demand but in the institution investigated focus on knowledge sharing is not extensive which leads to the following research question: How facilitates knowledge sharing with the help of ICT so structure and organization of knowledge sharing harmonize with the team organized organization structure while at the same time support the academic development. The research and the subsequent technology analysis has showed that technology alone do not solve the problems which lies in knowledge sharing. Besides above described technologies a very “low-tech” area is demanded, but nevertheless neglected. The area is documentation of the technology, user instructions for the technology together with a structure and organization which provides motivation, confidence and openness in knowledge sharing.
