Abstract
Foreliggende projektmateriale omhandler et løsningsforslag til besvarelse af konkurrencen om et nyt kunstmuseum i Randers, udskrevet af bestyrelsen for Randers kunstmuseum, samt Randers kommune. Løsningsforslaget består af designet af en museumsbygning og en museumspark, beliggende centralt i Randers. Projektet har sit hovedfokus på den arkitektoniske udformning af museumsbygningen, som skal være byens nye vartegn. Designet af museumsbygningen er udviklet i en integreret designproces, hvor de primære fokusområder har været belysning og rummelig oplevelse.
The present projectmaterial concerns a suggested solution as a reply to the competition on a new art museum in Randers, arranged by the board of Randers kunstmuseum and the municipality of Randers. The suggested solution consists of the design of a museum building and a museum park, located centrally in Randers. The project has its main focus on the architectonic design of the museumbuilding, and should be the new icon of the city. The design of the museumbuiding is developed in an integrated designproces, with lighting and spatial experience as primary focus areas.
