This master thesis project in developed by Tools by SØ by two graduate student from Industrial Design at Aalborg University during the spring of 2016.
The project began by preliminary gathering of knowledge on the intended market and the target group. After the initial phase, the development of the product began.
The min focus during the project has been on Smart Cooking, where the chosen direction is long roasting food, that allows the user to spend time outside the kitchen. The product is being developed in order to cook the food properly and to provide the user with more time to spend on activities free of choice during the cooking process.
View is the result and makes it possible for the user to observe the food on his or hers smart device. The product offer information on coretemperature and current oven temperature as well. The product is equipped with three measuring points, which makes it easier for the user to reach the core fo the meat and by that makes it easier to prepare the perfect dinner.
