The project is regarding transformation of the landscape in a social housing area in Aarhus. The landscape of the area is today a uniform green surface without details, and therefore it is not really used. Transformation of this surface is important to improve the area and give value to both its inhabitants and the citizens in the near context.
The area is made into a public park, which links a future light rail station, with the residential area. Variation in the landscape is made by dividing it into bands of different kinds of nature. These bands are made under the theme urban farming, where inhabitants have the ability to grow fruit and vegetables. This gives the landscape both functional and recreational value. And the inhabitants can with bigger joy use the outdoor area.
