This master thesis concerns the trends in offshore wind industry with focus on cooperation and best practice in order to find a way to improve the industry.

The offshore wind industry has expanded over the last 20 years. This has led the industry to undergo huge development in the matter of both technology and skills by consisting of relatively unexperienced players within offshore, who are ought to find the best way to handle the industry.
This has caused many different trends to appear throughout the short existence of the industry.
These trends will be mapped and analyzed in order to find the reason of them, how the players deal with them, and where to act to maturate the business.
The solution is a need for better cooperation and collecting and sharing experience across the supply chain. This will be done through strategic partnering between the players in the industry. This way a better understanding of the needs of the industry is obtained in order to make a more consistant development.
