Dissertation about developing music therapy assessment for children with problems within the area of adjustment, social skills and speech and language. The dissertation is based on a field project with 8 children referred to pedagocical/psychological counselling. The following three hypotheses are investigated: 1) How can Music therapy contribute with information in the area of contact and communication? 2) What kind of information is gathered by using qualitative and quantitative methods, respectively? 3) How can the gathered information contribute to the interdisciplinary evaluation of a child? A summary of the main conclusion in English is provided on the last pages of the dissertation.
