In the literature and the debate about the use of anonymous gamete donation the perspective of the donor offspring is rarely heard. In this report I will give an outline of how it might be explored to have an anonymous donor origin. Through interviews with five adult donor offspring I have sought to understand how they reflect upon their situation and how it has affected them and their understanding of what kinship and family is. The report show how keeping the donor origin a secret to the child are having an important impact in the parent/child relationship and how finding out change the way they se themselves. I suggest that a new vocabulary regarding donor families is important to distinguish between parents and donors and to avoid confusions and disappointments in the future.
