The subject of this project is the design of at chapel, not intended for a specific religion. The chapel is located close to the city in scenic surroundings, in Lundby Krat, south of Aalborg. It is the intention to design af forrest chapel, from the main theme of the project, a ”non-religous forrest chapel” , which can make the setting for a respectful and beautiful farewell with the deceased, regardless belief or religion. The focus of the project is the use of daylight as the primary architectural element, and seek to incorporate architectural, functional and technical aspects in a solid design, with basis in ” The integrated designproces”.
