In January 2009 Rikshospitalet, Ullevål University hospital and Aker University hospital were merged to Oslo university hospital (OUH). One of the reasons for the merge was to create a better cooperation between the hospitals. It was made an agreement between the health region (Helse Sør-Øst) and Logica Norway on a electronic common clinical workspace. The implementation project started January 2010 and the first phase of the project with presenting results should be implemented in the whole OUH before summer the same year. The second phase of the project, where e-ordering should be implemented, was supposed to start in the beginning of 2011. In this project I first look at the three excisting solutions used at OUS, and compare them to the new solution. Secondly i looked at the implementation project, that have been delayed several times. There are several challenges in this project, both with the solution, how the project is handled and also the fact that it is a complex task to implement a new electronic solution in such a big organisation.
