4. term, Architecture, Master (Master Programme)
This project concentrates on the development of a multipurpose building,
referred to as “Pulsen”. It is located in the small town Balling, and it’s
goal is to provide the area with new life and opportunities, thus creating a
much needed pulse for its inhabitants.
The building consists of a variety of functions; Healthcare, sports, fitness,
wellness and cultural activities. During the design phase technical and aesthetic
aspects will be integrated, to incorporate the main focus areas of
this project; social and energy sustainability, flexibility, organization, flow,
phenomenology and aesthetic qualities. The aim is to meet the demands
of the Danish low-energy standard of 2015, along with guidelines for indoor
climate, and thereby acoustics and ventilation.
