LiftDenmark is a project regarding the development of a product service system. The purpose of the system is to reduce the number of people, who are struck by lifestyle diseases. The systems must motivate people to be more active in their daily life.
The project starts with a preliminary research. The research investigates the sources of the problem, identifies the target group, maps the actors and analyses existing solutions to the problem.
Afterwards a range of concepts are developed. They are based on the preceding research, the value- & visionbased methodology and personas. One concept is picked out, and a business plan is made for this.
In the end, parts of the concept gets detailed with regards to use, production and functionality.
The result is a system consisting of a webpage and a personal activity monitor, which can motivate employees in Danish companies to be more active in their daily life.
The concept helps employees to set realistic goal and follow these. At the same time it provides inspiration for activities, they can do either alone or together with others. The concept creates a positive environment in the work place, where employees support each other in following their own and common goals.
The intention is, that the solution is launched as a campaign supported by "Dansk Firmaidrætsforbund "(Danish Company Sports Association). The association uses its network to promote the solution and make activities that the employees can participate in.
