The aim of this thesis is to gain knowledge on the subject of how the concluding of the strategic partnerships between the municipal of Copenhagen and the social housing organizations on developing new housing concepts can be a factor in achieving the goal of the municipal which is to create a coherent liveable city for everyone.
By introducing the themes gentrification, community, segregation and stigma I hope to uncover the significance of these strategic partnerships in attaining the goal of the municipal of creating a coherent liveable city for everyone.
Informants with extended knowledge of the devising of the strategic partnerships contributes in combination with document material to the empirical foundation.
By taking an abductive approach the conclusion reached in this thesis is that strategic partnerships between the municipal of Copenhagen and the social housing organizations can be a factor in the municipal achieving the goal of creating a coherent liveable city for everyone. But it has to be in combination with pooled actions in housing politics which may need national involvement.
