The project deals with international consultancy regarding land acquisition in infrastructure projects. This means that the property law issues associated with such projects are studied. The study is based on the public roads illustrated by the Norwegian practice. The project and thereby the study is an illustrated process for how to obtain knowledge of a country and how to perform an analysis of land acquisition. The project illustrates a range of methods used in the analysis and concludes whether it is possible for a private company to acquire ownership of public roads. This includes land acquisition through agreements, expropriation etc. This results in the final conclusion that it is possible to assist in land acquisition in Norway.
