4. term, Applied Philosophy, Master (Master Programme)
This master's thesis is about what we can learn from evil, from Lars Fr. H. Svendsen's typologies of evil. The thesis looks at two terrorist attacks, deals with Hannah Arendt's book on Eichmann and looks at Svendsen's typologies of evil. By doing so we'll find an answer to the thesis main question. Apart from Svendsen, the thesis will also include other historic philosophers whose perspectives have driven our understanding of evil. This comparison will be used to illustrate the evolution of our concept of evil across time.
