This project uses Hobro as a case in relation to the general question about, what the role of Danish provincial towns will be in the future. The question is relevant for many Danish towns, and in relation to this, the focus of this project is how stagnation and decline in the development of a town can be turned in a positive direction. This project proposes, in the case of Hobro, a new vision and a comprehensive intervention. From the comprehensive intervention three sites will be chosen. In these sites the concept will be exemplified in a site specific urban design proposal. The project will focus on the potentials of Hobro, which to a great extent is the nature of the surrounding landscape.
