This master thesis treats the design of a visitor center for the newer established National Park Thy in the northwestern part of Jutland. The hilly dunes and raw coastal climate are representatives for the National Park, which should be cared for and communicated through the fashion of National Park Center Thy. The architectural vision for the design is to produce a harmonic interplay between the nature and the architecture, by processing the qualities of the natural landscape as a design parameter for the architectural design. Additionally, the architecture must embrace and enhance the natural- and cultural values that makes Thy worthy of a National Park.
