We have chosen a starting-point, which potentials are significant about using video in an e-portfolio in the subjects Physical Exercise and Art in The Teacher’s Training College in Odense. Our collected empirical findings are from interviews of 3 teachers and 3 students. We have asked them about their use of and experience with using video as a tool, the learning process, the use of portfolio (digital or not) and about their habits of evaluating.
The purpose of focusing on video in an e-portfolio is, that we will look for the potentials on how video can be used as systematized and formalized documentation, evaluation and reflection, with the purpose of strengthen learning. We have an idea that video can increase the effect, that working with an e-portfolio can have, as a frame which facilitates the positive focus on what you master, the expectations of the individual and the group, and setting realistic goals.
Others have focused on e-portfolio or video. We have chosen to look at the combination of both leaning tools.
