the ressources of the net are used in a sophmore chemistry class in the danish high school. The didactical design is characterised by the pupils production of signs, repetition, consultative interaction, the pupils working in pairs and the teacher's rhetorical organisation of the pupils work.By working with the animations the pupils became much better at constructing mental models of the particulate level and combining the particulate and the symbolic level.
