Executive Summary – “The active DGI-house”
The project concerns programming, sketching and presentation of a house with 300 parking lots, 4 sportareas, a swimmingarea, a hotel and a bibliotheca. All functions are placed in a 5600 square meter dynamic building complex were paths from the urban Masterplan is included in the design. As well as the functions of the building are active, the building itself is active using solar heating for water, gathering of rainwater for green areas and an integrated strategy for ventilation.
The main concept of the design is to merge functions by visual contacts or by movements.
Overall, the design has an innovative approach to the use of the attractive spare areas in the dense city.
