This project investigates the build of an electrocoagulation cell, using a fixed current density, concentration, electrode sets and flow rate. The cell was generated in COMSOL multiphysics 5.5, to simulate the fluid dynamics through the cell to investigate the turbulent velocities encountered by the array of electrodes. Further more the influence of the potential needed to run an electrocoagulation process will be investigated using Nernst equation and the standard reduction potentials for iron electrodes.
