This paper investigates a Brain Computer Interface (BCI) system using the Fast Brain Switch (FBS) paradigm. The endogenous sensory discrimination is implemented through a Graphical User Interface (GUI), while the detection of Movement Related Cortical Potentials (MRCP), using a single channel classifier, is the applied brain switch. The system was employed to control a robotic glove. Classifications results from online tests on six subjects resulted in average precision and recall of 61% and 68%, respectively. Furthermore, the similarity between the movements that generated the MRCP was investigated using a newly defined metric that could be used for feature selection.
