Including users in design processes has become more and more popular, but may provide a risk factors, as users might not know what makes a product influences their experience.
To investigate how a product impacts the user’s experience without having the user evaluate the product, this research will focus on creating a framework and methods for connecting the design world to the experience world, while keeping them separate in studies. The problem is explored by developing methods for deriving relevant product attributes and user experience aspects and through these, relate the products to the user experience. The comparison is made through a multivariate analysis.
