4. term , Construction Management and Informatics (cand.tech.), Master (Master Programme)
These tasks are based on a case study by a public developer. The purpose of the assignment is to investigate which barriers lie internally in a project organization when implementing the BIM technology. Here, the study found that the barriers were of a practical nature.
This thesis is based on a socio-technical perspective of the implementation of BIM in a construction project. It examines how different actors' interpretations and relationships to technology create an imbalance in a change process and complicate the stabilization of technology.
It also sheds light on how the strategic focus of the implementation itself has affected the project organization's adoption of BIM in their daily practice.
